So much of the collection of modern furniture industry is dominated by Europe and North America, so it’s interesting to take a break from that and see what people are doing in other parts of the world. Recently, Allan Murillo sent us photos of the furniture his company is designing/producing in Cebu, Philippines. Below, you can see their showroom, their setup at a tradeshow, the Neptune Lounge, and the Kendo occasional chair in red and yellow.
Do you have aspirations to be brave like soldiers or pilots? but even so the destiny of your office employees? Hmm maybe this one with furniture you can still feel the sensation of your ideals while working on your routine tasks. Why? because this furniture is made from the remnants of a fighter! Modern elegance (with a twist)
Welcome to Applegate Tran Furniture. As designers, our work is about simplicity and elegance — with a spark of surprise. We love strong, simple forms combined with evocative colors, unexpected materials and exquisite details. Classic, sophisticated, and sometimes even playful, it’s furniture that invites the eye and delights the senses.
We build our furniture in Vietnam, where woodworking is an art and the business of fine furniture is thriving. There we have discovered extraordinary local artisans who create superb details just for us. On our Simone series, for example, their handcrafted silver feet and petrified wood pulls are so beautiful, they look almost like jewelry.
We hope your clients will take as much pleasure in owning our pieces as we did in creating them.
